Mahou Shounen FIGHT! is the story of Mike Smith, who dreams a normal life. Unfortunately, his fate is far more magical than he could have imagined. He wakes up one morning to find a sun-colored spirit stuck to him like an annoying, sassy shadow.

Mike finds himself part of an unlikely (and fabulous) superhero team, with an eccentric girlfriend who refuses to see his ‘secret identity’. Things get weirder, with evil cupcakes, mutated kittens and an evil force threatening to destroy the world’s balance (whatever that means.)

We started making MSF! in 2011 as a web comic. A while back, we released a book of the first five chapters of the comic + lots of extra content, which you can get in our store. While we work on chapter 6 of MSF!, we are re-releasing the comic on Webtoon, at a higher resolution than the original digital release. On Webtoon we update on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The creators of Mahou Shounen FIGHT! are Dusty Jack and JD Saxon, as a pair known as Scuttlebutt Ink. We’re a queer couple who’ve been making stories and having adventures together for nearly 15 years.
